At Grosvenor Services we invest in the development of all our employees in order to improve service delivery and Health and Safety standards. Every member of the Grosvenor Services team receives:

  • An individual training program
  • Ongoing skills training for the job at hand
  • Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS)

Training of our team members includes instruction from a detailed training manual, audio-visual education, and hands-on training.  Topics include safety training, equipment orientation, chemical education and safety, avoiding common mistakes, and proper techniques.

In addition to job-related training, we also offer:

  • Development and training for career progression
  • Opportunities to share ideas or raise concerns with management
  • Regular appraisals and evaluations

We are dedicated to communicating with our staff and rewarding excellence. All of our employees receive regular communication from the Grosvenor Management Team through newsletters. We also have awards for staff who go above and beyond.

Employee of the Month

This monthly award is given to Grosvenor Services employees at various accounts each month throughout our service area.  The award is determined by the account supervisor who acknowledges colleagues that have gone above and beyond, or team members who consistently deliver high standards of work and commitment. 

Employee of the Year award

Our annual Employee of the Year award is a company-wide competition. Area managers are encouraged to nominate their highest performing team members who are then fully audited by our Employee of the Year committee.  The highest scoring employee receives the coveted title. The audit is challenging and our teams relish being able to share their competitive side.  

We believe in rewarding hard work and awarding exceptional people so we also nominate team members for external awards.
